Many workshop owners and wholesalers want to import used engines directly, but do not know the complete process. This step-by-step guide covers order, inspection, shipping, customs and delivery.
1、Confirm model and chassis code
First tell the supplier your engine model and vehicle chassis code, such as Toyota 1ZR-FE (ZRE172), Isuzu 4JB1, Cummins 6BT1. Make sure the engine fits your car.
2、Check goods and price
Ask for real photos, running videos and compression test data. Confirm unit price, bulk price, packaging standard and payment terms.
3、Shipping arrangement
We use solid wooden case for all engines, suitable for sea freight. Main shipping routes: China to Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, Indonesia, Malaysia. Sea transit time is around 20–35 days.
4、Customs clearance
Prepare invoice, packing list and cargo certificate. Learn about local import tax rules in advance. We can provide all standard documents for customs.
5、Receive and inspect goods
After arrival, check package for damage first. Then do cold start, leakage and sound test before installation.
