1AZ-FE: 2.0L petrol 4-cylinder, 16 valves, DOHC. Fits Camry XV30 XV40, RAV4 ACA20 ACA30, Avensis T25 T27, Wish AE10 AE20.
Power & performance
2TR-FE: More torque (241 Nm), better for heavy vehicles, pickup trucks, SUVs and commercial use. Good for carrying loads, rough roads, long-distance driving.
1AZ-FE: Lighter, smoother, better for sedans and light SUVs. Less torque but more than enough for daily driving and city use.
Fuel consumption
2TR-FE: Uses more fuel (around 10–12 L/100km) because of larger displacement and heavier weight.
