Products Description
This batch of used original Toyota 15B diesel engines are dismantled from Coaster buses and Dyna trucks. Most vehicles ran regular passenger transport and short-distance cargo delivery with rated load. We eliminate units that worked long hours climbing with full load or ran continuously under high temperature.
The toyota engine retains the original gear-driven structure. The cylinder block and cylinder head have never been disassembled for overhaul. No cylinder boring work has been done. We do not assemble engines with aftermarket spare parts, nor do we use paint to cover oil leakage on the housing.
This purely mechanical diesel engine has a simple and durable structure with distinct inherent faults. Sustained high temperature easily causes cracks between the valve seats on the cylinder head, which will blow the head gasket and lead to oil-water mixing. Worn plungers inside the high-pressure fuel pump result in hard cold starting, unstable idle speed and power loss.Improper valve clearance due to lack of regular adjustment brings persistent noise and increased exhaust resistance. Failed glow plugs make cold starting difficult in low-temperature conditions. Sludge clogs the piston cooling oil passages and causes local overheating, cylinder scoring and excessive crankcase blow-by.
We carry out targeted inspections for these model-specific defects. We test cold and hot startup performance and exhaust smoke, run water pressure tests to find cracks and leakage on the cylinder head, ensure consistent compression pressure across four cylinders, use a borescope to check for longitudinal cylinder scoring, test the fuel pump and glow plug system, and measure blow-by.We reject all engines with cracked cylinder heads, worn fuel pumps, cylinder scoring and excessive blow-by. The mounting holes and flywheel housing size match the original vehicle perfectly for direct installation without modifying pipelines or brackets. Small retail orders and bulk wholesale orders are both available.

4. FAQ
Q: What exclusive faults should be avoided when purchasing the Toyota 15B engine?
A: The biggest risk is cylinder head cracking caused by overheating, which leads to repeated blown head gaskets. Worn plungers inside the mechanical fuel pump directly cause hard starting and weak power.Unadjusted valve clearance brings loud noise and poor exhaust flow. Sludge blocking piston cooling oil passages will cause cylinder scoring and high blow-by.We test cylinder head tightness and fuel pump performance together with compression and borescope inspection to filter out all engines with hidden damage.
Q: How to confirm the engine has never been overhauled?
A: Factory bolts on the cylinder head, oil pan and gear chamber keep original assembly marks; disassembly will leave obvious scratches. We can provide photos of engine serial numbers, cold and hot running videos, compression data and in-cylinder borescope footage. Each engine has a unique number with fully matched documents.
Q: Do I need to modify wiring and mounting brackets during replacement?
A: Mounting positions, oil pipe joints and flywheel housing all follow OEM specifications. The new engine bolts directly into place after removing the old unit. No modification or adjustment is needed, and it can be put into operation right after installation.
